In honor of SMV Steam Engine No. 21, a BBQ Tri-Tip Sandwich take out lunch will be held on Saturday February 24, the anniversary of 21’s last run in 1962. Enjoy either a Tri-Tip sandwich or a hot dog along with beans, and dessert. The lunches will be served from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. Proceeds will support our restoration fund. At 2:00 pm, we will be hosting an informal railroad bull session, talking about the current railroad operations and challenges from the latest storms. Tri-Tip Sandwich lunches are $15.00 each and the Hot Dog lunches are $10.00 each. They can be purchased online via a credit card (at left) or mail a check to: P.O. Box 1031, Santa Maria, CA 93456-1031. Last call: Lunches must be purchased by Wednesday, February 21, 2024. The SMVRR Company Store will be open -- check out all of the new merchandise.  |
