What: Annual SMVRR Open House and BBQ When: Saturday August 15, 2026 - 11 am to 3 pm Where: Osburn Yard - Santa Maria Valley Railroad 1599 A Street, Santa Maria, CA 93455 BBQ Buffet Menu: - Chicken Thighs and Dry Rub Pork Ribs - Two Sauces - tangy carolina & apple bourbon (on the side) - Coleslaw, BBQ Beans, Garlic Bread - Strawberry Shortcake Dessert Cost: $35 Payment must be received by August 10 It's time for the annual SMVRR Open House and this year we are changing it up with a BBQ Buffet, Caboose Tour, and a Yard Sale of various memorabilia from our new Museum. SMVRR polo shirts, jackets, coffee cups, patches, pins and railroad merchandise will be on sale in the company store. Friends Membership is required to attend the BBQ.
