MOW Carts - An Extreme Makeover

The SMVRR Maintenance-of-Way (MOW) carts recently received an extreme makeover...
The SMVRR track gang would work on such projects when rain and other impediments would prevent higher priority work.
These carts are handy when the gang needs to take track material to remote parts of the track where the MOW trucks cannot go. With side boards, they can transport tools, track material (e.g. spikes, tie plates and joint bars), and ballast directly to the work site.
